My Favorite Soup

Are you in the mood for a healthy, delicious, and filling soup? Put on your cooking hat, get your blender ready, and bring your appetite! We’re about to heat it up!

Serves: 2-3

Ingredients:
1-2 cups broccoli
1 cup spinach
1 carrot
1/4 yellow onion
4 sticks of asparagus
1/4 cup basil
1 red potato
1 stick of celery
3 cloves of garlic
14-16 oz. of garbanzo beans
1/3 yellow squash
1/3 green zucchini
2-3 cups of water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
dash of pepper

Directions:
1. Place the water, basil, spinach, lemon juice, pepper, and garbanzo beans in the blender.
2. Steam everything else (the potato, broccoli, etc.) for 10-15 minutes on medium heat.
3. Add these ingredients into the blender and blend until it reaches the desired consistency.
*The predominant flavors will be basil, spinach, and broccoli. Add salt for additional taste (optional). Enjoy!
