The only difference between my homemade almond milk and cows’ milk is that I didn’t have to confine a cow in her own feces, force her to live with painful mastitis, prevent her from nursing her babies, artificially inseminate her, treat her like a machine, pump her full of steroids and antibiotics, pollute the environment with her waste, and increase CO2 emissions to make it.
My almond milk also doesn’t cause heart disease, cancer, osteoporosis, and diabetes or contain remnants of blood, urine, and pus like cows’ milk. It does contain antioxidant-rich almonds which lower your LDL-cholesterol, prevent diabetes, and reduce your risk of heart disease. Other than that, cow’s milk and my almond milk are the same.
1 cup of raw almonds
4 cups of filtered water
4 raw medjool dates
1 tsp. of vanilla bean extract
Step 1: Soak the almonds in water for 12-24 hours to remove the enzyme inhibitors.
Step 2: Drain the almonds and rinse in water.
Step 3: Add almonds to blender with water. Blend for one minute.
Step 4: Add dates and blend for one minute.
Step 5: Add vanilla extract and blend for 10 seconds.

Use in smoothies, cereals, and with other foods. Refrigerate the leftover almond milk. It will last 2-3 days.
Drinking cow’s milk is indefensible. Drinking almond milk is enjoyable and healthier. If you think before you drink, you will never drink cows’ milk again.
